About Senja:
Senja Požar has been working in the publishing industry for almost 30 years. During this time she has held various positions including Head of Marketing, Editor and Developer at Digital Textbook Publishing (DZS), Editor-in-chief at the Reference Book Department, Editorial Director at Educational Publishing and Editor-in-chief for Magazines. Since 2016 she has been developing foreign sales and international cooperation to a highly professional level for two largest publishing houses in Slovenia (Mladinska knjiga and Cankarjeva založba) when she also worked intensively on projects for Frankfurt 2023 and Bologna 2024, where Slovenia was the country in focus.
In June 2024, she launched with a support of Založba Pivec, the first professional Slovenian literary agency.
Senja is also a proud member of the group Publishers Without Borders from the very beginning in 2020.
